Elijah was a man who trusted God completely. He followed all of God’s commandments through good and bad without knowing what would happen to him or those around him. When we have tough times, it’s easy to forget that God has a plan for us. Sometimes we need some perspective to see what that plan is.

God works out His purposes within our free will. Through seeming coincidence He brings low the proud and lifts up the humble. In Jesus Chris He offers the greatest exchange of all: His righteousness for our sinfulness. Don’t just here the message. Accept the exchange for your life.
Do our circumastances shape us? To some extent they do, but how they shape us depends on the decisions we make. In Chapter 5 the character of each person is revealed and God gives opportunity to repent or harden. After fasting and prayer Esther takes sensitive action. What one thing is God asking you to do?
In this all-age service we think about the direction that our life takes and the decisions we make.
Destiny and fate are different. Esther has a destiny to fulfil but she must decided if she will do so. We too have a destiny and are called for such a time as this. The question is whether we will choose to fulfil our destiny.
