Giving

We don’t tend to talk very much about money as a church. It can be off-putting for visitors, and we never want people to feel under pressure. However, giving is an important part of discipleship, and we do believe in being a generous church. We give to mission locally and internationally. All our work is funded by voluntary giving. Simply put, giving is part of our community life together and part of our worship, offering back to God a little of that which He has given to us.

In person

We provide boxes by the front door and in the school room to offer the opportunity to give to the work of the Church. This can be by cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Burwell Baptist Church’. The boxes are emptied after each service and no cash is left on the premises.

Bank Transfer

Please contact our Treasurer for detail to set up a bank transfer.

If you are a UK taxpayer, as an exempt charity, Burwell Baptist Church is able to reclaim a further 25% of the value of your gift, helping your giving and the work of the Church to go even further. Please talk to our Treasurer about setting this up.
