Stand By Me (Part Two): Jesus heals the leper, and Ethiopia

Stand By Me is a charity that we as a church have supported for many years. This Sunday we were priveliged to have Ahmad Ayoubi, Director of Stand By Me joining us to share his story and bring us news on the projects that the charity is currently involved with.

In the second part, Ahmad looks at the story of Jesus healing a leper and once the leper was healed how he couldn’t keep the news to himself. Ahmad also tells us of his travels to Ethiopia and how Stand By Me works in the towns and villages there.

Stand By Me (Part One): Ahmad’s Story

Less is More

Jane Batten from Tearfund visits us, telling us the story of Ruth in Nigeria and how Tearfund partners are able to empower communities to lift themselves out of poverty.
