Jesus Heals

Jesus Heals The Paralysed Man

Continuing in our summer series on Jesus’ healing miracles, this week Chris looks at the healing of the paralysed man in Jerusalem. Why did Jesus choose to heal just him and not the others surrounding the pool? And what does the conversation Jesus has with him have to teach us about our attitudes towards miraculous healing?

Shona leads the rest of the service with sung worship led by Pete.

Jesus Heals The Official’s Son

Today we begin our summer series, and this year we will be focussing on Jesus’ healing miracles in the gospel of John. Throughout his book, John outlines seven miracles as evidence that Jesus was indeed who he said he was. In the healing of the official’s son we see that Jesus doesn’t even need to be anywhere near the person for healing to take place and Chris explores the implications of that discovery.

Karen leads the rest of the service with an update on our Mission of the Month for July, Stand by Me, and Mike leads our sung worship. There is also an opportunity for prayer for healing.
