Jesus told the parable or story of the foolish rich man to show us what God things of greed.
Jesus said, ‘a man once had lots of land and it produced good crops’.

The hired men who worked in the fields worked hard and they produced a big harvest.

The rich man said to himself, ‘my barns are too small for all the harvest that my workers are bringing in, so I will tear down my old barns and build even bigger ones. I will be rich and I will have enough money for the future’.

Jesus continued, ‘God did not think the man was wise, but foolish and told him, ‘you will die this night and who will get all your money and crops then?’

Jesus continued, ‘only a foolish person puts their trust in money or belongings. Neither money nor lots of possessions can save your life, only putting your faith in God can do that’.
