Church continues during the Pandemic

COVID-19 UPDATE 14 October

Please do not attend if you have symptoms of Covid.

Good ventilation will be maintained where practical, but this will become more limited in the colder weather. In the light of this, while we no longer require masks to be worn, we would encourage you to wear one, if you are able, during Congregational singing.

Please continue to use the hand sanitizer provided.

We have recommenced post service refreshments.

In the light of these changes, individuals are encouraged to consider their own level of risk based on their vaccination status, age and health and to make their own decision whether to attend in-person or not in light of their own discernment.

Please continue to be considerate of the differing levels of anxiety and joy which are being felt in the congregation and be respectful of those who wish to maintain distance.

Initially, we plan to continue offering online services, CDs and written materials as well as live Zoom communion services. Click this link or the link in the menu above to view our sermon pages. Or you can watch the whole service including songs via our YouTube Channel.

For those connected to the church or if you would like to be, you can join our private Facebook Group (Burwell Baptist Congregation) where you can find links to our prayer meetings and small group meetings and post service chats.

On the Third Sunday of each month we share communion live on our YouTube Channel . We hope to share a recording of the service soon after the service closes but it can take a while to appear.

We are continually reviewing the situation and this page will be updated with the latest information as and when we get it.

We live in uncertain times but we have a trustworthy God and believe His Spirit will lead us through.
