Church continues during the Pandemic

Our Church building is currently closed.

The Leadership Team met on 14 April and agreed a step-wise plan towards full in-person worship on Sunday morning 27 June. Before then, we will recommence in-person prayer meetings 19 April and offer in-person Lyfe Group meetings from 22 April. Good News Club hopes to meet in the building from 10 May. We plan to offer restricted in-person services in the church building each Sunday from 16 May. Initially, singing will not be permitted and masks and pre-booking will be required. We will not be offering transport at this stage. We plan to continue offering online services, CDs and written materials as well as live Zoom communion services. Click this link or the link in the menu above to view our sermon pages. Or you can watch the whole service including songs via our YouTube Channel.

Details of exactly what will be offered each week will be published on our Facebook Page. Please remember that attendance must be pre-booked for all in-person events. We will reassess again on 12 May when we will also consider when to restart Reflections Meetings.

For those connected to the church or if you would like to be, you can join our private Facebook Group (Burwell Baptist Congregation) where you can find links to our prayer meetings and small group meetings and post service chats.

On the Third Sunday of each month we share communion live via Zoom.  If you would like to join us live please join the Facebook Group or contact us for a link.  We hope to share a recording of the service soon after the service closes but it can take a while to appear.

We are continually reviewing the situation and this page will be updated with the latest information as and when we get it.

We live in uncertain times but we have a trustworthy God and believe His Spirit will lead us through.
